Graphite Grease BG600 is a synthetic product for the lubrication of; plain bearings, ball and roller bearings operating at high temperatures.Graphite Grease BG600 is formulated from a blend of fine particle graphite, incorporated into a synthetic fluid, with an advanced non-soap, non-clay, non-abrasive thickening system. The product has a broad operating temperature range, at elevated temperatures (over 200°C) the synthetic base fluid evaporates without carbonising, only a dry lubricating film of graphite remains. This dry film will adhere naturally to metal components and provide excellent lubrication even under the most severe conditions.
In many high temperature greases, limitations to performance are imposed by the base fluid and thickener. The base fluid may suffer thermal degradation leaving carbonous deposits and the thickener (depending on type) may melt or cause build up of solid matter, leading to bearing failure. These problems are overcome with Graphite Grease BG600
APPLICATIONS:
Designed for lubrication of plain bearings, ball and roller bearings operating at high temperatures, applications include: kiln car bearings, furnace doors, drying tunnels. steel rolling mills, “hot” bearings in brick-works and paper mills. The product can also be used as an assembly and running compound.
